Raoul “Bob” Delarra Jr., age 81, passed on June 23, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on Nov. 23, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Raoul Frances and Mary Elizabeth Theodore Delarra. He was married to Cynthia Lynn Zeigler. 

Raoul was a heavy machine specialist for the U.S. Army and was a truck driver for 50 years. He enjoyed working on old classic trucks and cars, cooking, writing recipes and loved spending time with his grandkids. 

He is survived by his son Raoul Delarra III, daughters, Ladonna and Samantha Delarra; grandchildren Sabrinia, Nicholas, Katrena, Crystal, Courtney, Austin and 16 great-grandkids.

Raoul was preceded in death by his parents Raoul Frances Delarra Sr. And Mary Elizabeth; son Brandon Delarra, ex-wife Cynthia Delarra, sisters Pat McKnight, Renee Freeborn and Margaret Gaquindo and numerous friends. 

Cynthia Lynn Delarra Rena passed at the age of 72 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. She passed on Jan. 17, 2021, in California.  She was born on June 29, 1948, in Los Angeles, California, to Harvey and Grace Zeigler. Cynthia was married to Raoul F. Delarra Jr. 

Cynthia enjoyed painting and art. Her family time and going to the beach were some of her favorite pastimes along with hiking and working in the yard. 

She is also survived by her children Raoul Delarra III, daughters, Ladonna and Samantha Delarra; grandchildren Sabrinia, Nicholas, Katrena, Crystal, Courtney, Austin and 16 great-grandkids.  She is also survived by her sister Barbra Guizado Fernandez.

Cynthia was preceded in death her parents Harvey and Grace Ziegler. She experienced the loss of Thomas, Harvey Jr. and a son Brandon Scott. 

With the recent passing of Raoul F. Delarra Jr. the family will be honoring both Cynthia and Raoul in a memorial service. Military honors will be provided for Raoul to honor his military service. Services will be held on July 27 starting at 1 p.m. with military honors at Affordable Funerals and Cremations, 157 E. Riverside Drive, Suite 3A, St George, Utah
