That’s what OTC Comedy, Southern Utah’s longest running improv comedy theater, is all about. Trained by improv legends across the country, OTC strives to bring Cedar City the highest-quality entertainment this side of the Zion Curtain.

We’ve all been there: it’s Friday, you’re bored, and you’ve been scrolling through the streaming options for an hour, paralyzed by the over-saturated choices available. Wouldn’t it be swell if there was a place to experience entertainment that is guaranteed to be fresh and unique without having to settle for another hastily made straight-to-Netflix film starring three Canadian actors you’ve never heard of? I mean, I’m not knocking Canadian actors, but it’s FRIDAY! It’s time for something new!

That’s what OTC Comedy, Southern Utah’s longest running improv comedy theater, is all about. Trained by improv legends across the country, OTC strives to bring Cedar City the highest-quality entertainment this side of the Zion Curtain. With decades of improv experience behind each cast member, you can be sure that each performance will be wild, unpredictable, and hilarious!

OTC has been performing every week since January of 2004, and they aren’t letting 20 years of shows slow them down a bit. The OTC Comedy Theater (located at 913 South Main Street in Cedar City) is bouncing every Friday night at 8 PM when the show begins – arriving around 7:45 will help get the best seats.

The show combines elements of both short form improv (games like on Whose Line is it Anyway?) and longform improv (a more theatrical scene-based style) to create a truly unique package that will never be seen again once the lights go out and the audience leaves. Every show is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see a flash of humor and heart.

“Such an amazing group of people. This is a great place to go for a good laugh. They have been doing this for years and have made such a positive impact in our Cedar community.” – Cade Bentley, Google Review
